On tap at Ojai Beverage Company in Ojai, CA.
Pours a murky dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of caramel, toffee, and dark fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, caramel, toffee, dark fruit, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with lots of sticky sugar and fruit aspects all around.
