Poured from the cask via a beer engine. I only had the pleasure of getting a taster glass of this as they were limited to one cask and had to make it last. Tasted at room temperature, which in Carpinteria was a bit cooler than usual since its cooler here. And the Jubilee Ale is actually considered an Old Ale by the brewer and not a Winter Warmer as listed on here.
A: nice mahogony hue to it, very little head
S: good blend of hops blended with malty sweetness
T: it was a wonderful melding of mellow palate of, at first, a slight hop attack...then...a smooth maltiness coming up late and taking over for the rest of the trip.
M: very mellow and well rounded beer, not overpowering in any one area and not too heavily carbonated which is nice for an Old Ale.
D: Lets just say that I wish they let me drink a full pint of this ale....
