We added a juicy, modern twist to a classic Belgian wit. Soft, light wheat beer, but in lieu of adding orange peel, we dropped 12 pounds of Mandarin orange purée into the mix. Just making sure you get your daily dose of vitamin C.

Poured at the brewery. Light straw yellow with not much of a head.
The smell was wheaty with the characteristic twang. Mandarin orange for sure. The typical spice notes were present but weak.
The taste followed exactly. Very nice orange flavor with some nice sweetness to balance the tang of the wheat. What was weak...yup...the spice notes. Present, but faint.
The feel was light and this would be a decent refresher.
Enjoyable to drink, but could use some extra Belgian-ness to bring it up to snuff, in my opinion. Delivers everything it should, just needs a tweak.
