From a 16oz can, dated 09/11/18. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours a moderately hazy honey-gold with a scant two fingers of fluffy froth. Retention is excellent, leaving a solid curtain of thick lacing.
Sweet, fruity, flowery nose of biscuity malt and orange juice.
Taste is thick and malty, juicy with extremely low bitterness. Again, biscuit and orange, slightly 'off' juice and sour rind. A little turpentine and grapefruity bitterness appears on toward the finish.
Feel is thick and doughy, medium-hefty bodied with decent carbonation.
Overall, a pretty good NEIPA. There's a little sour juice/turpentine something in the taste which isn't quite right but which doesn't significantly detract from its enjoyment. The mouthfeel is excellent.

Poured into a 13 oz Weyerbacher tulip glass canned on 9/11/18. Pours a very hazy dark yellow with a 2 finger head that leaves a thick collar of foam around the sides of the glass.
Smell is mellon, candied fruit, papaya, pineapple, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows tropical all the way with some grapefruit bitterness in the balanced finish.
Mouthfeel is a big medium, soft on the palate, a tad sticky, and goes down very easy.
Overall this is a very nice NEIPA, that really hits all the right notes, has more flavor than most beers at 6% ABV.
