Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can.
A - Hazy/opaque dark orange gold color with dense lacing.
S - Juicy tropical fruit aroma: papaya, pineapple, mango, and some green tangerine.
T - Follows the nose with spicy fruit rind from start to finish. Mango, papaya, pineapple, with a bittersweet finish that leans more towards the fruitier, sweeter side.
M - Big medium body and dry.
O - Another fine IPA from the Northeast

Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass not sure when was canned but was recent I trust. Pours a hazy orange with a finger head that leaves a thin wall of lace behind. 4.5
Smell guava, papaya, pineapple, and some moderate white grapefruit, amazingly balanced and juicy as hell. 4.5
Taste follows tropical all the way with mild bitterness, really excellent.4.75
Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, soft mouthfeel with gentle carbonation, a tad sticky but not dry, and at 8.7% ABV insanely drinkable. 4.75
Overall this is top notch, would put it up against all the big juice bombs, really special. 4.5

From a 16oz can, undated as best I can tell. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.
Pours a crystal clear sort of butterscotch colour with two fingers of fluffy white head. Retention is very good, leaving scattered gobs of lacing.
A faint-to-moderate, sweet, candy-like aroma of pineapple and caramel.
Taste is in line with the nose, sticky-sweet pineapple syrup and caramel malt. A little grassy bitterness shows up for the finish, but mostly it's just sweet.
Feel is cloying but not quite syrupy, medium bodied with adequate carbonation.
Overall, too sweet for me. Hides its alcohol well, though.

Can from Winooski Beverage, VT.
Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a bright copper colored body with a finger's worth of concave white foamy head sticking finely to the glass.
The aroma captured a great blend of mango and pineapple juicy hops rolling into some sweet grass.
The flavor was mildly sweet with some bitter grassy hop ends balancing quaintly. Mild aftertaste of grassy sweet hops and a touch of mango.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied. A fair sipping quality lead me to believe the ABV felt on par. Carbonation felt appropriate. Some grassy hoppy prickling had a decent grip on my tongue, slightly dry. Semi-crisp with a touch oiliness in the finish.
Overall, aroma is what makes this beer! Flavor is pretty spot on as well. Personally, I think Branch and Blade is a nice addition to the Vermont beer scene. Hoping this is a permanent distro.
