This peanut butter stout has a lot of flavor packed inside! Brewed with a heavy Munich type two malt bill, you'll get malty sweetness with huge peanut butter and chocolate flavors. Please do not let your pup partake as there is real chocolate brewed into the recipe.

L-The beer pours black and thick with a one finger mocha head. The head recedes to a thin ring with large central island leaving minimal lacing.
S-The nose is heavy with chocolate and accented with a lighter peanut note.
T- On the palate it is not as sweet as the nose would lead you to believe. There is dark chocolate, some smoke/char, and a light saltiness like peanuts from the can.
F-Mouthfeel overall is on the higher side of medium. There is a decent slickness to it. Carbonation is light. Its a filling beer.
O- It's a good example of an American stout, neither cloyingly sweet nor overly hoppy. I would have like the peanut aspect to be more like peanut butter and a little stronger on the palate than it is. Worth a shot if you like stouts and want one with a slight twist.

Poured into a 16 oz Flying Goose Brewing Snulip, not sure when it was canned. Pours a slick very attractive near black, with a half finger khaki head that leaves thin lines of lace behind. 4
Smell is what you would expect peanut butter, dark chocolate, and some vanilla one dimensional isn’t a bad thing sometimes. This is exactly what I signed up for. 4.25
Taste follows peanut butter cup, dark chocolate, some vanilla, and maybe a little toffee, I am liking this. 4.25
Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, gentle carbonation, maybe a whisker dry, and at 9.2% goes down very easy. 4
Overall first things first, will be grabbing more next time I hit the store. A little thinner than I prefer, wanted it to be a tad darker with the head and leave thicker rings of lace, but is a very tasty stout for sure. 4

Can purchased from Winooski Beverage VT.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with an eggshell white foamy head softly dissipating. Mellow spotty lace.
The aroma mixes nicely between peanut butter sweetness and roastiness adding in appropriate nuttiness. Milk chocolate cocoa powder and a brief whiff of dark chocolate play lightly in the background.
The flavor combines very well from the actual peanut butter taste rolling into the milk and dark chocolate malts evenly blending the sweet with the roast and the nuttiness. Mellow caramel. Mild aftertaste of dark chocolate, peanut butter, and roast.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. ABV seemed on par. Carbonation felt fine. Nice semi-sticky and roasty slightly nutty with a smooth and slightly salty (peanut butter-ish) finish.
Overall, this is definitely a peanut butter imperial stout coming across on all levels being well balanced and brewed with genuine ingredients.
