Pours very cloudy pale straw with a nice sized head. Good surface lacing. Great citrusy smell- grapefruit, lemons. Sweet malt in the back of the nose. Taste is big citrusy spicy piney hops. I'm liking the more traditional hop profile here as opposed to the sweet topical fruit- I'm digging the darker pine and spice. Some good light malt provides a counterpoint. Medium bodied and not too heavy- seems like this might be chewier. I know these NEIPA's are everywhere and have been for some time. But I like them. This is a stronger, more intense version and it's very good.
