While we typically move toward an abundance of hops and/or adjuncts, we are always proud to put out something that is clean, refreshing and traditional. To celebrate oktoberfest, we brewed up a festbier with german malts, munich yeast and a lengthy lagering process. It's crisp. It's clean. It's everything that should be celebrated about beer.

No can date
Pours a med fizzy foamy 1 finger head with moderate retention, a bit of lacing, brilliantly clear light pale straw color
Nose grainy malt, cereal, bready, grainy sweet pilsner, light floral herbal hops, little straw pilsner malt
Taste fair malts, cereal grainy sweet bready malts with straw and grain, faint pilsner corn, light to med bitterness with herbal floral hops, drier finish with more hops lingering
Mouth is med to lighter bod, soft lager, med foamy carb
Overall not bad, actually Festbier style and not the American sweet bastardized beer, nice soft malt forward beer, good hop character
