16 oz can.
Pretty simple beer here. Looks muddy, like pulpy mango juice. No head or lacing, but that's typical for this style.
Smells like pineapples and cherries with plenty of cinnamon. This beer also has marshmallows and brown sugar. Marshmallows don't really give off a strong aroma, but brown sugar does. Not picking up much here. But otherwise it's just as advertised.
Flavors of pineapple and cherries dominate, providing a nice sweet and sour balance. There's a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon there. Marshmallow/vanilla on the finish. A bit muddled but ultimately it tastes how it's supposed to.
Medium bodied with pretty good carbonation. Chewy and smooth.
Overall, with kettle/"pastry" sours you really have to read the label to know what you are getting. This beer tastes kind of like a pineapple upside-down cake. Kind of. But that's the name of the beer and the ingredients are on the can. This isn't a particularly great or interesting beer but it's perfectly fine for the style.
