Purchased fresh at the Monadnock food coop on 6/16/22 reviewed same day.
Look: Thick n' hazy straw gold with cream and orange hues. Milk shake style white foam cap remains with fat lacing as it recedes.
Nose: Orange cream, boozy apricot and sweet tangerine.
Feel & Flavor: Boozy, bitter sharpness briefly, then it's super soft and creamy Mouthfeel.
Tangy, booze soaked apricot chunks, sweet tinged mandarin orange, silky golden malted grains with vanilla and herbal/spice kick at the end. Complex, balanced but slightly abrasive from the high heat of the booze and apricot upfront on the palate.
Overall: I'm having fun with it, it's a bit of a challenge with it's sharp edges, but the Mouthfeel is about as good as it gets for a big NE hazy DIPA.
