With a beer this rich and deep, we took inspiration from a beautifully dark poem. Brewed with a heavy concentration of caramel, dark and chocolate malt, we wanted to give this beer a very special adjunct treatment. We used more maple syrup than the average Canadian consumes in their lifetime and finished with vanilla beans from Uganda, papua new guinea and madagascar. The vanilla adds creaminess to the thick, sweet and maple-filled base. We think this beer is beautiful enough to make executioners sing joyfully. *Split batch with pause before your day begins*
