Had tried this in the late Fall sometime... later found a 4-pack available nearby.... just now getting around to trying it for real and rating it.... A nice way to start the Christmas Day festivities....
Poured into my trusty Smutty sniftah, it's slightly hazy and cloudy. Color is medium golden, and there's a bit of fine, steady carbo streaming topside. Head is snow-white, thin and fine, with a light bit of lacing. The very inviting aroma is of some clove and banana, along with pear and green apple. Has a medium-plus body, and the feel is mostly smooth; no issues here.
Flavor is crackery and light, with Pils malt laying down a nice semi-sweet foundation. Has more green apple and pear, plus a smidge of honeydew. The fruity aspect is quite nice with this one, and brings me back to Belgium! Very nicely done! Prost!!
