i believe its called cyclic beer farm, not brew farm as listed here, but what do i know, this was the first i had ever heard or seen of them, not sure who is importing this, but i hope it pops up a little more and that some other flavors come around, i was very impressed with this, a wild and funky with with oranges, almost built like a lambic to me, this is the kind of thing i am most interested in, international fermentation forward beers, this is at once modern and rustic, innovative and traditional, i loved it. its very light golden in color, not quite clear but not as hazy as a lot of wit types can often be, fluffy white headed and very lively, looks super delicate to me, gorgeous, and the label on the bottle is cool to. the aroma is quite piquant, minerals and brine and tang, some obvious orange flesh to this, softly sweet at the same time, some new bretty character too, a raw wheat vibe, way more complex than is common in the style. the flavor is that way too, really layered and different, but all quite subtle, tart but not approaching sour really, kind of thins the wheat some, but its not acidic per se. the orange is so delicious in this, more natural than it ever is in these, and with the funkiness and farmy nature of the beer, its a cool unifying and even distinguishing element. this is very well carbonated, must be bottle conditioned, the texture is gentle but alive, perfect for the flavors here. i was blown away by this and glad i didnt let the exorbitant bottle cost scare me off, it was totally worth it. hoping to see more from these guys, this was really special and has me excited about the brewery! what a delight, the essence of springtime!
