Can picked up at Gary's Wine & Liquor Market in Bernardsville, NJ on my way back to Vermont.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was nice looking bright golden yellow color with a sly cap of a little white foamy head swiftly dissipating. Just a concave lace ran around the glass nicely.
The aroma had a fairly sharp crisp champagne yeasty breadiness up front with bookends of blood orange and tangerines barely touching down in this. Light grassy and semi-spicy tones lay further underneath.
The flavor leaned sweetly into sharp crispness of the champagne yeast initially then dryly moved into some blood orange and tangerines. Mild aftertaste of bready/yeasty crisp and dry pulpy citrusy notes.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionable quality to it. Good carbonation and ABV. Mild champagne finish of dry citrusy fruity notes.
Overall, in my opinion, there's too much champagne yeast blocking other qualities trying to come out.
