Lovely clear dark amber brew with abundant foam in the Copper Kettle stout glass. Aroma of cereal with a flowery note. Plenty of malt taste with a lively, sudsy mouthfeel. Some roasted grain flavor, apples, and a touch of butter. Just slightly bitter in the aftertaste. Clean and flavorful.

Pleasantly aromatic and makes for a lovely quaff. As good of an American version of the ESB style as I've had anywhere. Another excellent entry for the short list of lighter, refreshing beers. From the 16 oz can dated 07/12/21, purchased at the Community Co-op.

16oz can (dated 7/15/21, I think. Again, the printing is really shitty on these cans.) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear light caramel color with almost 1-1/2 inches of light khaki head that had good retention and light lacing.

The aroma was sweet, kind of caramel-y, malty and had light hops.

Pretty similar on the tongue; sweet and lightly hopped.

The body was medium light, smooth, and had a medium-sweet finish.

Drinkability was good, a smooth and easy quaff.

Overall, a nice little example of the style. Worth a grab if you see it.
