On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a light clear amber-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells pretty earthy, with pine, a sort of green astringency and grassiness, and biscuity malt.
I’ve once again been duped into getting an Eli Fish beer, who I still haven’t really ever enjoyed. This is just malty, with a very uninspiring and boring hop character. It’s just kinda grassy and astringent, with a ton of maltiness. It’s unbalanced, and just not all that pleasant to drink.
This is not very drinkable, bitter, astringent, and not smooth at all on the finish.
This is just too dirty and too earthy. I didn’t really enjoy it.
