Dijkstra, a carefully crafted dark lager. Delve into its robust, malty profile, a testament to the meticulous balance of tradition and innovation with huskless dark chocolate malts- adding color and flavor, without adding roast. Explore a more serious side of beer with this distinctive and refined addition.
A blend of light and dark malts, fermented cold and lagered for many moons. This is our oude to the Redanian lagers of yesteryear.

Pours reddish copper with garnet highlights (SRM 17-19). The head is a big, long-lasting, dense cloud of beige. From 2.5 inches, the head turns rocky as it settles over five to ten minutes. The beer is clear as a gem, while the lace forms thick patches on a Laura pilsner glass.
The toasted malt is sweet and caramelized. Brazil nuts and faint milk chocolate add contrasting character.
The flavor opens with lightly roasted malt that builds with each sip. Nuttiness comes on strong. Bitterness is mild and equal to the sweetness despite the ton of caramelized malt. Cold pressed coffee comes on strong as it begins to warm.
It has a hard metallic texture in combination with a medium to full body. Alcohol is above expectations, but far from significant. Carbonation is sharp and punctuated. Astringency is light.
I found this to be a great after work beer. One could easily session it. It has a ton of flavor and no harshness. I suspect it would also go well with nachos or salami.
