A:
It pours hazy white gold with an inch+ of scummy, short-lived off-white head. Meh retention; little lacing. (3.75)
S:
Unripe mango, green grapes, orange potpourri, potato. (3.5)
T:
Green grape-like pseudo-tartness, mango peel, lime zest, lightly resinous finish with some breadiness. (3.5)
M:
Dry and a little tannic with active carbonation and a pretty crisp feel. (3.5)
O:
Pretty decent, interesting beer.
The yeast in this one really makes itself known and makes the beer unique. It looks like it should for the most part. Both the flavor and the aroma have a dry, earthy, lightly fruity/tart character that I can only assume is due to the yeast and is what is making my mind think green grapes is what I'm getting. It is pretty good on the whole. Dry and fairly drinkable. Rating it to style it might suffer a bit, but I'm bumping it a little overall as it is interesting and fairly cohesive despite its being "different." (3.75)

A: Looks really good, quite typical for an IPA with a hazy light golden color with a pure white super creamy looking head, solid retention and lacing.
S: Smell is medium to light in intensity. It's very tropical with ripe pineapple, passionfruit and a mangoes. A tiny bit of funk from their yeast.
T: Taste is medium in intensity. Taste wise you get a lot more funk than I expected. It's kind of musty and spicy (and even a little salty, might be from the water). You still get the tropical fruits with the pineapple, passionfruit and mangoes, but the notes are quite a bit muted in comparison to the smell.
M: Mouthfeel is a bit of a disappointment too and is a bit "too crisp" for an IPA IMO. Light body with very lively carbonation that is a bit reminiscent of lager.
O: This is an alright beer. After been very impressed by the Nørdicité and the Saison Lactée, this is a bit of a let down as I don't feel like they managed to do what they had in mind. Still alright for sure.
