A clean, crisp, lagered amber ale with a hint of Belgian candy aroma that leaves a perceived sweetness on the tongue despite the dry, drinkable finish.

Biere de garde
Lagered amber ale with a candied citrus note on the nose and sip. Soft and rounded. Finishes sweet with a candied caramel malt backbone.

Appearance: Served in a tulip glass on tap at the brewery. Beautiful amber color with one finger width of head, minimal head retention with a tiny bit of lacing.
Smell: Smells bready, and sweet, almost like a croissant with some jam on it. A bit of Carmel and biscuit.
Taste: Carmel, malty, bready, creamy, some candy on the back end.
Mouthfeel: Nice carbonation, creamy, light bodied, somewhat dry finish. very drinkable for the warmer weather.
Overall: I would score this beer a solid 4.25 very drinkable, I would recommend you try this if you get a chance. I will most definitely be getting this one again and again!

The reddish color surprised me, but otherwise it tastes like the Notes describe.
