Part of a flight sampled at the brewery, straight from the keg into a 5 ounce tasting glass. A medium body lager in the Helles Exportbier style, also known as the Dortmunder Export, this beer was amber in body, with a small white head and minimal lacing. The aroma was slightly sweet, slightly spicy. The first sip was more about the malt, with a bit of hops on the finish. A good representative of the style.
