The Subtle Blend Raspberry Barrels

Cloudy faded golden body with a sudsy white head and thick lacing. Flowers, raspberry jam, wild yeast, oak with a lighter complexion, honeycomb, and super satisfying brett funk. Taste is very bright, delicate, and light, like a beautiful piece of art you behold its subtle complexities in each sip. Honey and raspberry contrast well with the funk, oak, and yeast. Slightly tart within all of the funk and yeastiness of the bright and delicate body. Well constructed for sure!

my first beer from these guys is cool because the fruit is only one component of it, so many of these its all fruit, but here its natural and fresh, but restrained enough that i can appreciate the fermentation profile to its fullest extent, its awesome beer, really mature and nuanced, and quite impressive overall as a first impression of garden path. its lightly pinkish orange, lazy white airy head on it, smells like raspberry jam, floral freshness and tart tang from the berries, but with a lot of new oak to it, a light wine hint, and some fragrant funkiness, real developed and evolved, mostly brett here. the tang in the flavor to me is more from the fruit than any bacterial element, with a nice rustic musty wild profile, clean in the finish though, no linger, and it dries the fruit out fast. it tastes like there is some pretty old saison in this blend which gives it some real depth, but also a cool floral element to the fruit that makes it seem new, the best of both worlds there. good carbonation, even effervescent, and delicate in all the right ways while being full of flavor. i like the raspberry not being over the top, this is great beer and i am excited to try some of their others now!
