Canadian in Hungary continues his personal beer tour. Also I'm not sure why I referenced myself in third person.
Okay, so this pours the dreaded West Coast IPA orange (shhhhh...I don't like West Coast IPA, due to its strong malt use). The nose is of malt, but also sour kraut juice. Wait, what? It's not quite as bad as it sounds.
The taste is however a complete bore, void of much of anything at first. It does settle into a pleasant enough boozy hop pillow, but it doesn't save the mundanity.
Skip this one.

This was the first one from Fehér Nyúl that I wasn't really impressed by. It is "just" an ordinary IPA, Hungarian craft style and nothing else, nothing exceptional - unlike their sours!

Murky dark amber color with frothy beige head. Aroma has some butterscotch biscuits, resiny hops and orange rind. Taste has caramel, toasted malt and light cardboard notes. Medium body and carbonation. Seems quite oxidized.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
