Poured from 330mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 5/16/23.
Appearance: light golden hue with a dash of haze and plenty of effervescence. Head is a thick finger of pillowy white foam. I like it.
Smell: nicely malty, a little bit sweet, a little bit yeasty. There's a dash of hops to the aroma -- a pretty well-rounded Pilsner, I'd say.
Taste: the malt flavor has an interesting fruitiness to it up front; maybe it was fermented a little more warm than it should have been. It's a little bit sweet as well, but the hopping is nice and noble in nature. Despite the odd fruitiness, it's growing on me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with rather a large carbonation and a good creaminess for the style.
Overall: perhaps not perfect, but a nicely drinkable Pilsner.
