Poured from a 750ml crawler filled at the brewery on 4-29-2023 - consumed on 4-30-2023
This is a dark brown pouring beer, however, when held up to the light, it's a deep dark amber color. This beer is fairly clear looking, and I see carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head comes to 1 finger and is tan colored. The bubbles are fairly small looking. The head retention is so-so, but not a big deal. No lacing on the glass.
The aroma some dark fruit in it. I get some plum, and raisin with some cherry. I also get some malts shining through. Aromas aren't too strong.
Taste - is fairly light. It is malty up front, with some biscuit flavor. The back I get some raisin and plum, but mostly cherry.
The body, while not watery, does seem light for a beer in the 7% range.
Ok, but this is nothing special. Somewhat of a let down to be honest.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
