16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $4.12 plus tax. No canned-on date, I think that this is probably 3-6 months old.
Look: Quite pale (light straw color) and very clear. There is a half-finger of fluffy white head. There are lots of lines of fine carbonation rising up the glass. It looks really nice. The bottom of the can was a bit hazy.
Smell: It has a really expressive nose. I am a big fan of the hops used here and the aromas on this beer are showing those hops off. The nose is a bit funky and earthy, and it's predominantly citrusy (lime, grapefruit) and white-grape esque. Passion fruit and melon aromas also. Green bell pepper on the finish after swirling the glass.
Taste: This is really tasty. The taste definitely mirrors the nose in that there are nice lime, grapefruit, white grape, and melon flavors. It has a touch of acidity, which is also nice. The finish has a mild to moderate bitterness with notes of orange and grapefruit rind and a bit of grassiness. When the hop notes fade, I get a mild crackery malt flavor. I'm not sure what makes it West-Coast, but it's a really tasty, flavorful, crisp, easy-to-drink dry-hopped pilsner.
Feel: The beer is light to medium bodied. It's very easy to drink. Crisp, relatively dry finish.
Overall: This is so delicious and so crushable. I'm really not sure what's the difference between a dry-hopped pilsner and a west coast-style pilsner....I guess that a west coast-style pilsner has less of an interest on the malt profile than a generic dry-hopped pilsner. I also think that this style tends to vary quite a bit from brewer to brewer, probably because it is such a new, unclearly defined style. This beer is the kind of beer that I want to drink when I want the hoppiness of a West Coast IPA but I want something lighter and more crushable. This beer reminds me a bit of the Southern Hemisphere-hopped Victory Prima Pils, which I was a really big fan of. This is just my second Ten7 Brewing beer and I am quite impressed!

on draft at the brewery - served in Willi Becher type glass
slightly hazy yellow golden color, foamy white head. decent head retention. Definitely hoppy for a pils - a lot of melon and white grape in the aroma. A little tropical fruit in the taste
