Poured into a narrow imperial pint glass: color is straw gold, slight haze, head is brighter white with fine bubbles, head presents thick (greater than 2 inches), then lingers well with spotty lacing.
Smell is chalky quickly overtaken by malt sweetness, then light belgian yeas with a sweeter aroma.
Taste is pilsner malt, light tartness, some chalkiness, belgian yeast notes with drier esters, but lingering sweetness remains.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness; not quite as dry as some saisons.
Overall a sweeter saison with some chalky flavor and presence with notable malt flavor.

clear, medium golden yellow color, white head. aroma is the familiar earthy herbal notes from Belgian style yeast. taste is similar, starts with a bit of grainy sweetness but finishes a little drier. not bone dry like some saisons. thin to medium bodied.
