Not overpowering but subtly, delicately wondrous. Smooth as silk. Easy on the finish. One of my favorite beers of all-time and a beer deserved of far more appreciation than it has received. So clean, smooth, and refreshing, I'd gladly drink it if it had zero% alcohol. Notes of melon, citrus rind, and sticky rice.

Exceeds expectations. Recommended at our local watering hole over Pliny the Elder no less. Looks like a lager but drinks like a true West Coast. Just the right strength. Try it!

Crystal clear yellow-gold brew with sticky foam in the Duvel nonic. MIld and inviting aroma of citrus and pine, and then peach in the nose. Spritzy on the tongue with a medium body. There is really a delicious green melon taste with a touch of grapefruit that goes with the medium bitterness so well. Citrus peel in the finish. This is a clearly California style IPA with clean taste and distinct bitterness, but enlivened by the fruity flavors. From the 16 oz can purchased at the big box wine store. No apparent date.

No canned on date anywhere—I have no idea if this is a fresh drop or something that was sitting for a while.
Selected on the recommendation of the beer buyer.
It pours on the lightest side of hazy, or as a more cloudy WCIPA. There’s a real sweet grapefruit juice note on the nose, balanced with hints of pineapple and berries(?). I enjoyed the second pint of this much more than the first, and I am now looking forward to the third.
