A - Pours a hazy orange with a sturdy white one finger head. Really nice looking soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is mango, peach, tangerine and resinous hops.
T - The taste is papaya, mango, guava, peach and a lingering bitter hop bite in the finish.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a crisp drying finish.

The pour was pulp less apricot juice in color and the scant head was nearly white. It left regular lacing.
The aroma was faint for me, but I did get some pit fruit aromas, aforementioned apricot, peach, plum, (Plum?) and a touch of pineapple.
The taste follows; it's astoundingly fruity for a DIPA, even a NE style (which wasn't specified on the package) That said, it's amazingly smooth. I mean smooth. Not like a smoothie, just velvety smoothness in flavor and feel.
I guess the feel is covered above, velvet smooth and soft. Rather un IPA-ish but feels really good anyway.
OA, amazing how they pack that 8.5 ABV into a soft, smooth beverage with so much fruit flavor.

16oz tall boy can poured into stemmed tulip glass.
No canned on date. Per brewery staff canned on 3/25/2022. Consumed on 4/1/2022.
Appearance: Hazy / opaque pale gold bodied beer with plenty of bone white head. Hard pour yields 3 full fingers of dense foamy head. Lacing coats the glass everywhere.
Smell: Mangoes, passion fruit, guava, papaya, stone fruits, tangerines. Super juicy. Balanced dank note.
Taste: Exponentially juicy. Low bitterness. Light dank to balance the juice bomb. All the flavors from the nose (Mangoes, passion fruit, guava, papaya, stone fruits, tangerines) with emphasis on big tropical fruit flavors. This is what you what from a double/imperial NEIPA.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation levels. Super smooth to a tee. Creamy and soft texture / body. No booze presence at all. Excellent.
Overall: This NEIPA catches every last bit of the magic from all these powerhouse hops: Galaxy, Mosaic, and Citra. You want this for sure. I gotta say that wax wings hazies are just as good as all the east coast places that are overhyped. Fully regret for not buying multiple 4 packs of this beer. I am also beginning to regret not living in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I don't even drink NEIPA that much because I got burnt out on the style. This is a banger.

Wax Wings making a name for itself! Super good, creamy and soft, citrus and piney bitterness, earthy, dank, well balanced. These are already in the elite of Michigan NEIPAs.
