Pours an inky jet-brown with oily black highlights and sporting a faltering effervescence producing a vague, short-lived curtain of fizzy, dark khaki foam; some paper-thin islands of cap and a slight, creamy ring of collar are all that remain, while thin, soapy splotches of webby lacing hold tentatively to the walls of the glass.

Aroma opens with perfumey, floral undertones offering an elevated angle of oily toasted coconut, with creamy peanut butter interspersed as bittersweet cacao and spent hazelnut peak through over the middle; an increasingly prominent dark fruit presence from the malt profile spreads across the bouquet, becoming increasingly prominent over time.

Taste brings out bright coconut flakes and dark fruit undertones, steadily condensing to a rich peanut butter imbued with coconut cream; intermittent bakers chocolate over the mid-palate finds a distant sense of char meandering toward a burnt malt acridity glazed over by fresh coconut and richer undertones of peanut butter leaving final impressions.

Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body, airy and semi-silky in texture to pair with a minimal carbonation; light char and soft, malt robustness develop across the mid-palate as now-oily textures transition to creaminess on the back end; semi-dry and a distant hint of sticky character crosses the back end before a pillowy char grazes the finish.

A coconut essence dominates while peanut butter offers an increasingly robust, savory counterpoint from the background, producing a well-mannered sweet stout begging for a more focused intensity to guide the layered coconut nuances through a pleasantly bittersweet malt base; a great marriage of nutty adjuncts with unexplored, top-tier potential.
