No bottle date to be found. It was gifted to me by fellow BA @brewskis in July 2022 so I'm guessing it was purchased around that time? Poured in a 8oz. snifter for the review.
It pours a dark oily brown but looks rather flat leaving no trace of foam. It smells like bakers chocolate with a slight hint of coconut. The taste is on the sweet side with bakers chocolate, brown sugar and coconut in the finish. The feel while flat is extremely oily and smooth.
Overall it's a very decadent dessert stout. It may not be overly complex but it satisfies and the 12% abv. is very well hidden. I really enjoyed it and would love to try this one with some time in a barrel!

Thick coconut and chocolate. A small amount of this beer goes a long way with this beer. Thick body lightly boozy. Pastry stout for sure.
