Aged in a 6-year Templeton rye barrel before being conditioned on a select blend of vanilla beans from multiple origins. We get lovely barrel expressions and rich vanilla on the nose as well as baker’s chocolate, fudge, toasted marshmallow and spice as it finishes.

Pours a dense, jet-chestnut hue capped with a finger of khaki foam; solid head retention leaves a near-blank, oily-slick surface, paper-thin, frothy collar, and minimal-no lacing holding to the walls of the glass.
Aromas offer waves of vanilla icing and dark cocoa roast upfront, with lingering dark fruit underpinnings trending jammy into burnt vanilla and toasted oak over the middle as toffee brittle and honey graham accent the back end of the bouquet.
Taste brings brownie batter immediately to the forefront before meeting a dark fruit overlay veering to black raspberry highlights; the mid-palate features more pronounced toasty malt, leaving smoky toffee and gooey marshmallow contrasts past the swallow.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body and minimal carbonation, with slick textures guiding to a creamy peak through the mid-palate; a steady prickle appears into the back end, cutting mild stickiness as a gentle warmth teases the finish.
Vanilla swathes layer a spectrum of lush sweetness over backing roast, with rye spice delicately enhancing an otherwise soft barrel projection.

Bottle at share. Near black pour, relatively flat. Aroma is strong, chocolate, roasty and notes of vanilla. Taste is sweet, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol heat comes late. Thick, syrupy feel
