Light yellow color with a thick head with decent retention.
Aroma with predominant notes of lemon and hints of lager yeast.
Flavor with notes of lemon, malt sweetness, lemongrass, a bit of white pepper and lager yeast. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
I am surprised to know that this was brewed with hops cultivated in the south of Brazil. Now I understood its name translated to Barriga Verde, as they call natives of Santa Catarina state. This turned out to be a citrusy beer with lemon notes that reminded me of a cross breed of Lemondrop and maybe Sorachi hops.
