This beer spends the hellish Northern Ohio winter months in hibernation, lagering, gearing up for its much anticipated spring arrival. Brilliantly clear, bright, and crisp, this golden German-style lager lends notes of herbal hops, biscuit, and honey.

From the tall boy can in a snifter via Bluejacket---Thanks dude!
This solid little maibock pours a clear medium golden color with
a nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and
displays some nice light lacing. Nose of light breaded malts, cracker,
herbal hops, floral hops, and sweet honey malts. Flavors surpass
the nose with a fine presentation of breaded malts, honey, floral
hops, and lightly zesty herbal hops. Nice mouth feel; medium light
body, medium light carbonation that is nicely effervescent, and a
lightly dry and very quenching honey sweet finish.
Overall, a VERY solid brew from a brewery I would love to visit
someday!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 04/27/2020. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear gold color with almost an inch off-white head that stayed around for a long time. There's a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bready malt, herbal/floral hops and a bit of honey. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some grassy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good enjoyable Maibock, worth picking up if you get the chance to!
