Cheery. Spiced. Warming.
This festive favorite is a Winter Warmer that explodes with holiday spice. Inspired by a gingerbread cookie, we brew Non-Denom with blackstrap molasses and infuse it with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

Canned 11/2/23
Poured a mostly clear amber brown with around an inch of light tan head that reduced to a fairly consistent skim coat. Really lovely lacing.
I always appreciate when the label is an accurate reflection of the beer, and Twin Oast does this justice. It's reminiscent of gingerbread. I smell the molasses, cinnamon, some brown sugar, and some other baking spices. The molasses and cinnamon are front and center.
The taste is again reminiscent of gingerbread. Moderately sweet up front, but with a slightly bitter finish on the back end. Nice balance, and keeps it from being one-dimensional. I appreciate that the molasses is still prominent - it makes this brew unique and keeps it from being "just another Christmas beer" similar to 12 Dogs or Great Lakes.
Mouthfeel is medium. This is a smooth drinking beer with a relatively crisp finish.
Overall, very nice. I recommend it, especially if you're looking for something unique.

16 ounce can, canned on 11/12/2020. Served in a Rastal Craft Master One glass, the beer pours a mostly clear dark reddish/brown color with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both pretty good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, molasses and bready malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, it's a sweeter tasting brew but there's also the addition of some caramel too. Slight bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this winter warmer, worth picking up if you come across some!
