The modern Berliner Weisse is an old-school beer brewed with new-school methodology. Crafted to be sour and sessionable, Vivod exudes notes of tart citrus, green apple, and honey. Need to bring some balance? Try it "Mit Schuss", with a shot of your favorite fruit syrup!

This just wasn't very...idk. it's good but it's just straight up not great. I don't have that much experience with pure Berliners with no adjuncts but Baeres from Colorado is better to me.
Update: little more optimistic today this is tasting much better for some reason. Maybe it's the weather, this is much better to me now

16 ounce can, canned on 09/17/2020, purchased from Rivalry Brews. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a mostly clear light gold color with almost an inch white head. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like green apple, bready/grainy malt and some honey. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some citrus (more lemony). Nice amount of tartness. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Nice and refreshing! The canned version is good, although I do prefer this on tap as I've had it at the brewery before so my rating for the draft version would be higher. Worth a try if you get the chance to!
