Drinking this at The Balsam Falls Brewing Company in Beautiful downtown Sylva NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown almost black with a tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring and some very nice lacing.
Taste follows the nose nicely with a nice roasted finish.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice Porter that I might order again.

Appearance. Essentially black and nearly opaque with dark brown edges and a good beige head.
Aroma. Dark roasted grains and sour dough bread.
Flavor. Very malty and rich but not harmonious.
Feel. Full body with well set carbonation.

Nice dark color, faint simple aromas of dark malts, tastes okay but its weak sauce. Feels thin and watery like all their brews.
