Drinking this at The Balsam Falls Brewing Company in beautiful downtown Sylva NC.
Looks dark brown with a nice foamy head that dropped quickly to a thick cap.
Smells bready, malty, vanilla, chocolate.
Taste follows the nose nicely and definitely malt forward with enough hops to keep my interest.
Mouth feel is no creamy with a nice smooth finish probably due to the oatmeal.
Overall a excellent take on a oatmeal brown that I would definitely order again.

Nice clean brown appearance, minimal head
Faint smell is nutty and interesting but very faint
Tastes lightly sweet, faint, and an interesting woody/spice note from somewhere - could be really good if it all had more intensity.
Feel is thin and watery like all other Balsam Falls attempts.
Overall, it is like the watery diluted version of what it should be. Almost.
