Drinking this at The Balsam Falls Brewing Company in Beautiful downtown Sylva NC.
Appears dark brown almost black with a nice foamy head that dropped quickly to zero.
Smells malty bready sweet, chocolatey.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style.
Overall I liked the nitro version of this beer much better.
I would definitely order the nitro version again.

looks nice and dark, smells like a diluted stout, tastes like an honest attempt, but afraid to use enough malt. Could not tell it was a milk stout - no lactose detected in any aspect. Feels much too thin for a milk stout, and as much as I like the place, their beers need improvements.
