On nitro tap at the brewery pub in Sylva NC.
Appearance. Essentially black and opaque with the excellent beige head expected from a nitro tap.
Aroma. Dark roasted grains, faint coffee and sour dough bread.
Flavor. Malty, smoky, hoppy, bitter and rich for the style.
Feel. Near full, creamy body with well set soft carbonation.

Drinking this at The Balsam Falls Brewing Company in Beautiful downtown Sylva NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Appears dark brown almost black with a very nice foamy tan head and very nice lacing.
Smells lightly bready, malty, chocolatey, and vanilla.
Taste follows the nose.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style. The nitro improves the mouth feel immensely in my opinion and the carbonation is very good because of the nitro.
Overall a very nice stout that is improved by Nitro that I would definitely order again.
