Drinking this at The Balsam Falls Brewing Company in beautiful downtown Sylva NC.
Looks light amber with a very light tannish colored foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells bready, malty, spicy.
Taste follows the nose nice with a crisp peppery finish.
Mouth feel is medium for the style with a nice malt backbone that nicely balances the spice and hops.
Overall a very nice example of Festbier that I would definitely order again.
