Darker amber with an orange hue. Cloudy. Small but lasting head. Minor lacing.
Creamy and sweet initial nose. It’s as if there’s lactose in this beer. I’m not picking up any farmhouse or yeast smells.
The taste is lightly tart with a strong mandarin (dry) orange taste. There’s a minor yeast touch which is the only Saison-like aspect to this beer. I would describe this more as sweeter Pale Ale/Sour blend. It’s very good in a delicate sort of way.
