This hop-forward easy drinker starts with a crisp, classic Czech-style base, an ultra-creamy head, and a touch of grain complexity. We balance that lightly toasted grain base with a blend of German, American, and New Zealand hops through a 90-minute boil for a smooth, bitter-balanced core.
After several weeks of cold conditioning, Polaris is ready for its finishing touch: a double dose of New Zealand hops provides a bold nose of lime zest and sweet, citrusy aromatics that carry through to the crisp finish.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery in Budapest.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a thick finger of creamy ivory foam. Pretty!
Smell: yeasty aroma with a little malt and some earthy hops. Not too bad.
Taste: lightly malty with plenty of yeasty flavors and a bit of lightly fruity, perhaps a dash noble, hop character. It's like a pre-prohibition IPL or something, or an IPKellerbier. I think I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a really well integrated carbonation and creaminess. Outstanding.
Overall: a solid beer. Kind of outside the typical mold of an IPL, this one is really working for me.
