Cool trendy brewery vibe meets basement bar yet spacious. Beers were top tier of the Hungarian beer scene, even the barrel aged offerings were very good. Plenty of options with 12ish taps and many bottles, variety of styles. Service was very friendly and happy to talk about beer and find you the best match for your preferences at the moment

Visited with a wife and friend midafternoon on a Saturday. Ended up spending several hours there, tasted everything they had on the menu, brought some beer and some merch home to the US with us. Staff was friendly, beer was good, location is really neat. Definitely would recommend.

The first review is spot on about everything. Really cool space, in a basement/cellar on a side street. Great escape on a hot summer day. Also in a unique part of town. Seems gentrified and wealthy. Near the great market hall. Friendly English speaking bartender. Heavy American craft representation. But as stated, hoppy beer game is weak. Makes sense, not judging. Still a great place for a beer, likely one of the best in the city.

I visited Gravity Brewing in Budapest a couple days ago, and boy am I happy I did -- it's a great little brewery by any measure. When I visited, they had 9 of their beers plus 3 guest taps (2 beers and 1 cider). Their style selection is interesting: an IPL, a couple stouts, a sour, and *three* different red ales, among others. Evidently they do normally have IPAs, but it appears they were out when I was there; they also have booze and wine for your non-beer friends.

The quality of the beers is excellent -- the red rye is just outstanding, the IPL really good (and an interesting take on the style). and the milk stout very good, if rather sweet. The red rye might be my favorite beer I've had in Hungary -- certainly top 5. I might even have to go back and try some more!

The taproom is kind of in a basement with low brick ceilings, and is a new build out with a clean and industrial, but also close and comfortable feel. The brewhouse is right off the taproom, and the whole place is pretty small, which gives it an intimate and really just all-around pleasant atmosphere. The staff are friendly and my bartender's English was very good, certainly many times better than my Hungarian.

I absolutely recommend checking Gravity out!

OK, I visited again, and they could stand to up their IPA game. But the other beers are great!
