I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a tulip glass.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a fair dose of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: mildly sweet malt aroma with some citrusy hops thrown in.
Taste: interesting flavor; kind of a citrusy, juicy hop character with a slightly toasty malt base, but with this, like, mild chili pepper flavor. Actually kinda pronounced up front but then fades quickly … odd, but I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: definitely an odd duck, but I kinda like the weirdness.
