This brew is built around an experimental hop cultivation and harvest method called the Bliss process, developed by New Zealand's Freestyle Hops. By intentionally stressing the hop vines and precisely timing their late harvest, Freestyle maximizes tropical thiol aromas in the raw hop. This gives us massive guava and passionfruit notes while keeping the classic grape and citrus characteristics of an earlier harvest.

To support the Nelson Sauvin core, we added Riwaka and Citra on both the hot and cold sides of the brew. The Nelson brings huge mango and Sauvignon Blanc flavors, Riwaka adds lychee and lemongrass, and Citra rounds it all out with overall tropical notes of pineapple and guava. Get ready for a seriously juicy experience, perfect for the upcoming warmer days!

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery in Budapest.

Appearance: medium golden orange hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.

Smell: sweet with some lovely melon and stone fruit aromas. It gets more expressive as it warms a little, too. Love it!

Taste: a lot like the aroma, though the peach comes a bit to the fore. Some hop burn kinda dominates the aftertaste; without that this would be great but instead it is merely good.

Mouthfeel: medium rich body with a good carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: that aftertaste aside, I'm quite enjoying this beer. Just wish the flavor were as clean as the aroma!
