Bottle from Albertsons. There was a time when a bottle from Full Sail was a treat. Sad to say those days are gone. This rather generic lager with fake, candy flavors is kind of weak and watery. Very pale, small foamy head, sweet, candy aroma. Tadte too is more of the lime flavoring, without much of a lager to back it up.

Clear pale gold with two fingers of three minute head. Splotches of lace as level drops.
Smell is lime citrus bready malt.
Taste is lime spicy hops with bready malt.
Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and balanced.
Overall a tasty flavored lager.

12oz bottle poured into Duvel tulip. 042418 stamped on neck glass. If born on, this bottle is 5 months old.
Appearance - Clear pale gold body with hardly any carbonation and a small thin head with almost no retention and weak lacing. 3
Smell - Corny musk and faint cardboard with overtones of lime. 3
Taste - Thin corny head with surprisingly little lime given its namesake and smell. 2.25
Mouthfeel - A little sour from the alleged lime. Neither refreshing nor complex. 2
Overall - You'd be far better off grabbing literally any American Adjunct macro lager and squeezing fresh lime into it. It will taste better by leaps and bounds. 2

Appearance is very pale yellow with near perfect clarity. A thin white cap recedes quickly leaving zero lacing. Aroma is bready malt with just a hint of lime. Taste is identical to the nose. Mouthfeel is clean, crisp, and refreshing.

Full Sail Brewing Co. "Summa' Time Lime Lager"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle, "PACKAGED 032718" and sampled on 061018
$2.29 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Interesting label shape, I think that's new for them. It's poured a yellow gold body beneath a head that pretty much instantly dropped to nothing - that's unusual. Perhaps it's from the "natural lime flavor", although I should point out that there's real lime in there as well. So let's see, does it smell like lime? A little bit, yes. It's clean and welcoming. There's some sweetish adjunct-malt there as well. It smells like a basic American adjunct lager with some sweetish lime added in. Hmmmmm. OK, on to the flavor... well it tastes like it smells but with a little more lime coming through. So, I'm lost on this, or perhaps I'm not - Full Sail has basically recreated Corona Extra but with the lime already added in? Geez, had this been produced a decade ago I think there would be a bit of an uproar from the craft brew community. Oh, so let me point out as well, just to be clear, this also contains corn and has the same alcohol content of Corona Extra. There are 15 IBUs which also seems on track, and it has a dull, earthy bitterness in the finish. It's medium bodied and gently crisp and then smooth across the palate. Except for the almost non-existent head retention, and absolutely no lacing, it's not that bad but neither is it anything more than average. And to be honest, although it's convenient to have the lime already added in, you get a better aroma and flavor with real lime that adds more tartness to cut through the bland malt than you do here. I'd rather add my own lime. Overall it's disappointing on several levels. It's disappointing as a beer, and it's disappointing coming from a brewer that used to be a keeper of the flame. If every craft brewer just starts brewing American adjunct lagers what's the point? Well the point behind it is money. That's why this has happened. And that's what brought us to the wasteland of beer that was the United States in the 70's. I don't think we'll ever return to that, but this is certainly not a step in the right direction.
