Poured from a bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of thicker looking but fizzy white foam. The head fades quite rapidly, leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather nice with a good deal of a grainy and bready smell mixed with some aromas of a nice caramel sweetness. Along with these smells comes a little bit of light fruitiness and touch of hay, producing a nice clean smell overall.
Taste - The taste begins with a nice rather flavorful bready taste mixed with a decent showing of a caramel malt flavor. Along with these tastes comes some flavors of a touch of hay, leaving one with a very nice and clean, but flavorful and very easy drinking taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is very light and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather average. A little thinner body and higher carbonation may have been slightly better, but overall the feel is pretty decent and makes for an easy drinker.
Overall – A very nice and easy drinking light beer with a good level of flavor! A great session brew!

11oz bottle

Pours a finger of white head into my hourglass. Retention is sub par, fading within a minute or so. Initial lacing looks questionable as well. Body is a very light yellow, crystal clear, with loads of bubbles coming up. Looks, eh so far.

Nose is not too bad. Very very light, but authentic bready malts. Somewhat creamy, odd but I’ll take it. Ever so faint note of grassy hops. For a light beer this actually smells pretty decent, very clean. Certainly not a German pils or anything, but it has some aroma, which is more than I can say for a lot of these light beers.

Definitely drops off nearly completely on the flavor. Probably the wateriest light beer I’ve had to date, including macros, and I’ve been drinking a fair amount of them lately. I mean there is nearly no flavor here whatsoever. Maybe the smallest hop bitterness. Really just tastes like water other than that, no malts to speak of.

Mouthfeel is…whatever, doesn’t matter at this point. Dry, light bodied, high carbonation, tiny bitterness.

Drinkability is “high” but I don’t want to drink more.

Appearance turned out poor, zero lacing.

Interesting thing to note – I find many light beers actually taste better out of the can/bottle rather than in a glass. This is the only light beer I’ve had that hasn’t tasted better regardless. In a glass this is relatively on par, but the grade gets bumped even lower because it doesn’t hold up in the bottle either, which is not something I would usually do, but it’s very noticeable. Odd that the aroma was rather pleasant because the flavor could not have been more of a dud.

Exactly what you'd expect. A replacement for your classic AALs if you're not one for supporting the big guys. Nothing fancy. Light gold beer, extra fizzy and dry, a touch of grainy sweetness. That's it. Perfect lawn mower beer, but nothing overly enjoyable about it. Cheers.

Not my thing but was part of a mixed 12 pack from Roth's Store in West Salem OR. ( stubby bottles)
$9.99
Pours the regulation corn oil pale yellow with a wispy/laceywhite head.
No aroma except creamed corn to be honest.
Taste//light corn, touch of grassy hop and a bit of paper malts.
They got the mouth feel right for a light beer and it saves it.
Overall a OK light beer

Saw these skinny cans sitting in the beer aisle and thought I'd try out another light version of a craft beer hoping for something with a bit more character without compromising taste. Poured one into a pint glass.

L - Pours a clear, golden-amber color with a finger of soapy white head that disappeared in seconds. Leaves zero lacing, some bubbles, but wish it would retain some suds.

S - Trying to find something in the smell but there's nothing here. A little bit of corn, wet grass, malt, citrus, very little hop presence.

T - Corn, bready malt, a slightly astringent alcohol bite towards the end, otherwise watery but not offensive.

F - Very light-bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly dry finish, drinkable like a seltzer.

O - So far, 0 for 2 as far as light craft beers go. This would be something different to reach for compared to a Miller Lite or Bud Light, but I'd prefer either of those for the same amount of calories and carbs with a little bit more character. This one falls flat for me.
