Deep red cherry color, with ruby highlights. One finger of almost white foam.
Classi Christmas beer smell: warm, spicy and sugary. Strong caramel. Alcohol well hidden.
Same notes in the taste, definitely spicy and sugary. Cherry and sherry notes, and something fresh tto (for the style).
Some light amaretto notes.
Average to high body.
Quite warming, with some bitterness and a bit of amaretto in the aftertaste.
A more than decent winter beer.

Appearance: A nice red copper colored beer with a reasonable head .
Smell/taste and mouthfeel: Candysugar and malty noise, bittersweet taste with medium body.
Drinkability: A very average beer, I couldn't care for another one.

BBE jan-07. Nice head and a dark cupper-brown beer without haze. Nose is IMO arteficial hops(?) dominating with litle koreander and in the back some malts. This just comes to perfumed to me but maybe to others appealing. Taste is quiet bitter with good caramellic maltyness and a candysugar arome. Good carbonisation makes this brew more ok but this arteficial nose just makes the whole brew feel chemical. Drinkable but had better winterbeers.
