Nice brown amber colour with a modest head of foam. The foam disappears quite fast though, making this bock look like a diluted coke. Decent caramel smell, though it is a bit monotone. Taste is fine, with a nice malty and sweet profile. It stays that way though, no taste development or bitterness going on here. If you like your bocks sweet (but in a good way, maintaining malt flavour) go for this one. I prefer a bit more complexity and balance in my bocks though. Taste is very one-sided. Mouth feel is also a bit too watery for my liking, though this beer is very easily drinkable and has a nice sharpness.

Drank from an oversized Wine Glass.
A - Pours a hazy pale Golden colour, with a one fingered tigh White head that reduces to a film very quickly.
S - Some grains and malt, and some residual sweetness.
T - Nice hoppy flavour up front that is nicely sweetened out into some more spicy flavours. The finish is long and bitter.
M - Light body and medium carbonation.
O - A little let down by its smell and appearance, but the flavour is good.

This beer pours a dark brown color with a small ring clinging to the glass.
Smell is chocolate and malty, smells pretty full-bodied. More like a German doppelbock.
Taste is chocolate, burned and roasted malts, which give the beer a good maltbitter. The cleanliness of the beer make me suspect this beer is top fermented and really reminds me of a German doppelbock. Body is medium and the beer is sticky and sweet.
An excellent Dutch bockbier, that should be reviewed more often.

It has a red-brown colour, with ruby reflexes. Bubbled head, scarce, beige, and not lasting.
Very strong in the smell, very resolute and assertive. Primary roasted malt, caramel, with burned notes. Even dusty and ashy notes. Dried plum.
The taste in on the same line, very resolute. Caramel, burned caramel, candied fruit, raisin, and dried plum again. Fruits in alcohol. Almond.
Medium-high body.
Good roasted and burned caramel notes in th e aftertaste.
Not unpleasant at all. Very resolute, in all of its parts.
