Ruby colour with a thin but covering head of foam that leaves pretty lacing. Smell of malt, sugar and vanilla. The taste is also quite malty, with that typical amber malt taste, but it's also quite sweet. Too sweet in my opinion. The sugar tends to block other flavours: it probably would have been a lot better without. Mouth feel is smooth, but a bit watery.

Bottle of 300 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV is 7,5%. Ingredients are water, barley malt, wheat malt, sugar, hops and coriander.
Pours a deep orange colour, with two fingers of off-white head. Average retention , it does leave some light lace as it goes down.
Aroma is mostly fruits, with prunes coming to mind, some alcohol and some vanilla notes.
Taste is sweet with some bitterness at the end coming from the alcohol mostly. Brings to mind a good port wine.
Medium to full on the body, average carbonation.
Nice beer, it offers a nice warming feeling along with the great taste.

I got this bottle from my cousin Peter yesterday, put it in the fridge and here i go!
Budels is a smaaler Dutch brewery in the south of Holland, not far from Eindhoven.
With this Kolos bier they have made a heavier beer than normal.
Tea-like fluid with a very nice three finger head and a bit carbonation.
Nice lacing in the glass.
To be honest i am not smelling much in this beer. The taste however is much better. Soft water is used for this brew. Malts in the background. There should be some korinader in it but i can not detect it.
Good brew, when you are in Holland and you see this you can drink it

Top fermented ruby dark ale. 33 cl. bottle.
Great lacing from a very thin head: this beer is very active.
Smell and taste are very malty. Some floral and grassy hops. Koriander is defenately in there too.
Mouthfeel is pretty light, almost watery, for a 7.5%. Aftertaste is mild, the alcohol is almost sweet.
